A balanced view on contracting an EV bus fleet for your employee's daily commute.

Is it worth making your employees' daily commute more sustainable?

How is NVS easing the shift to EV?

We are actively monitoring and resolving risks in availability of spares & trained service personnel with our maintenance partners. Extensive LnD investments in our people are also underway to meet requirements inhouse.

Guaranteeing an exceptional commuter experience.

State of the art, comfort and ride quality of the vehicles makes for a pleasant journey. Trained and disciplined drivers make for a reliable transport solution, and our app based journey management enables a closed communication loop for a perfect commuting experience.

Quick service start with strong charging infrastructure partners

Our SCM projects are actively engaging with multiple leaders in the business of charging infrastructure solutions to always recommend our clients the best partner to enable a quick location agnostic start of services.

High uptime with verified stock of spares & availability of service engineers

Achieving a cost less than ₹100 per km

Initially the cost of EV for our clients was nearly 300% of the cost of ICE vehicles. We have currently brought it down to about 200% with optimised operation models. Moving forward we are confident in being able to touch a 150% difference. With longer contract tenures & other strategic decisions playing a vital role to enable more of our clients to go green.

Industry Challenges

Its Cr@zy Expen$ive!

Not only is the purchase cost of an EV bus higher than the cost of similar Diesel or CNG bus by over 300%. But the cost of finance is also higher. Perhaps considering the lack of data to predict accurate asset depreciation rates.

120 KW/hr power supplies don't come easy.

Creating charging infrastructure for an EV bus requires space, lengthy waiting times, huge costs and government liaising. Not to mention the hassle of planning routes & charging opportunities in advance to avoid the fear of encountering dead batteries mid trip.

Untested supply chains

Only 2 Private EV busses in India at the moment. Dealerships and Distributors enabled by the EV bus manufacturers are still far behind. Very few trained service engineers and poor spare parts stock availability is the current reality.

But the Goal is
Sustainable Mobility

And.. we have taken  a first step

At NVS Travel Solutions, since our inception in 2007 we have been known for adding value in terms of route and occupancy optimisation for our clients while we serve their employee transportation requirements.

With the launch of our EV busses on 15th June 2024, this year, We have become India's first and only fleet operator to provide EV bus services. Now we are able to take sustainable mobility more further than ever before.
